Logline: Angel Lewis, closeted gay middle-aged lawyer, has an unexpected meeting with a maintenance man at his office and finds that he may be falling for him but at what cost?

ROLES:

ANGEL: (45-50) Male, African American, professional. Role details: Angel has been looking for love for a long time but is not desperate. Slightly prudish character, a little uptight but intelligent and snarky. Married to his job and trying to keep it that way. NOTES: THIS ROLE HAS BEEN CAST $100 per day

MANUEL: (45-55) Male, Latino, construction worker type. Role details: Homosexual, Angel’s love interest. We are seeking a bilingual, masculine, burly, type guy, who can express a range from quirky, to self-deprecating to sincere and loving. Older, wiser, blue-collar gentleman who is definitely OKAY in his skin. NOTES: Bonus for muscular, tattoos, facial hair. Must be okay with m/m kissing/physical contact. $100 per day

ROSA: (25-35) Female, Latina, daughter of Manuel. Role details: This girl loves her dad and is definitely supportive of him finding the right man. With a healthy sense of humor and a vibrant personality, she is all for Manuel finding a husband but is Angel the one? NOTES: $50 per day

DENISE: (35-50) Female, African American, professional, Angel’s best friend. Role details: This woman is fire. Must have a sense of humor and vibrant, witty personality. Angel’s best friend and sidekick. She’s supportive in a bossy sort of way but loves him dearly. She wants what is best for Angel, even if that means a one-night stand. NOTES: $50 per day
