Richmond – Casting for student short film – December 2022 – Deferred

We are currently casting VCU Arts Cinema student Addison Dephillip’s film “Sarah for 72 Hours”. The film is about a young woman who decides to stay awake for 72 hours while navigating the friendship she has with her roommate, who gets engaged. Sara: (19-22) Looking for a female presenting actor, curvy-plus size, any race. Sara struggles with feeling numb towards life and not knowing her place in the world. She decides to stop sleeping in order to feel something different for a change. Must be comfortable with intimate scenes (no nudity).

Juliette: (19-22) Looking for a female presenting actor, petite, any race. Juliette is Sara’s roommate and best friend. She struggles with feeling unseen by her closest friend while also battling an eating disorder.

Kira: (19-22) Looking for a black, female presenting actor. Kira is Juliette’s fiancé.

Jacob: (19-22) Looking for a male presenting actor with a stereotypical “hipster” look: long hair, glasses, and a mustache. Must be comfortable with intimate scenes (no nudity).
