Virginia – VA250 Grant now accepting submissions – Closing Sept. 8th – Application

Funding for VA250 Grants is made possible by the VA250 Commission. These grants are specifically geared towards projects centered on content relating to the American Revolution, to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, the Revolutionary War, and the independence of the United States in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Applicants may apply for grants of up to $10,000, with a required 1:1 match. Applicants must work with the local organizing committee in their home county and are required to form local partnerships in their work.

Applications for VA250 Grants are now open, with a closing date of Friday, September 8, 2023, at 5:00 PM (EST). Decisions will be announced by Friday, October 20, 2023, at 5:00 PM (EST), and the project period will run from November 1, 2023, to November 1, 2024.
