“The Last Emissary”
Director: Sam Gonzalez
Logline: After an accident leads to the death of his ambassador, a reluctant soldier finds himself suddenly forced into the role during vital peace talks with a hated enemy nation and their determined envoy.

Titus (20s-30s): An elite bodyguard and a blunt man of action who’d rather slide down a cheese grater into lemon juice than sit down and have a philosophical debate; especially with someone he wants to kill.

Til Franks (20s-30s): Franks’ youth and bookish appearance hide a dangerously sharp mind and iron resolve that has propelled her to become the Alliance’s chief ambassador.

Kai (20s-30s): What this soldier lacks in creativity, he makes up for in loyalty and effectiveness. He has served with his commander Titus for most of his life and is fiercely protective of him, though he is not above calling Titus on his inflexibility or issues with the chain of command.

Non-Union student short film shooting mid-to-late February in the Virginia Beach area. No travel/transport/housing provided. Unpaid, but food + access to the film for reels + submission of the film to festivals is provided.

Special Notes:
1) Slight athleticism/physical agility in these roles is preferred. Stunt choreography will be taught, rehearsed, and performed during this production and while no experience in stunt work is required, it is a plus.
2) Prop weapons will be used in this film.
