Saturnalia Extras Casting Call

Saturnalia is a non-union horror/thriller feature film currently casting extras in Richmond, VA!

Synopsis:
The year is 1979, and Mariam Basconi is a teenager whose parents died mysteriously. Now she’s being shipped off to the luxurious and macabre Alstroemarius Academy, a preparatory school for America’s elite children. She must survive the cruel and sadistic behavior of Headmistress Ms. Hemlock to discover the truth of what’s really happening to the disappearing students of Alstroemarius.

Shoot Dates: 01/15/24 – 02/03/24
Extras can expect to work between 1-6 days during that schedule, depending on the role.

We are seeking the following:

STUDENT EXTRAS – 18-25 yr old men and women who can pass for high school students. They come from upper class families, but are troublemakers at heart.

BENEFACTORS – 40 – 60 yr old men. Mysterious men who lurk around the school at night. Must be comfortable smoking cigars, wearing prosthetics and fake blood.

STAFFER – 30 – 50 yr old man or woman. Buttoned-up. No nonsense. Serves meals to the students and cleans up after them.

MIRIAM’S MOTHER AND FATHER – 40 – 60 yr old man and woman. Must be comfortable wearing prosthetics and fake blood.

Diversity encouraged. This is a period film. All extras must have long hair and be willing to sport a late 70’s hairstyle. Men should have hair over their ears and be willing to grow sideburns.

Must be local to Richmond or willing to work as a local. Must be able to self-report to set.
