CASTING CALL for Melee directed by Addison Dephillip. Our current filming dates are May 14th-17th.

Logline: A shy girl navigates a Christian summer camp while exploring her sexuality and creating new friendships.

Payment: Rates dependent on how much we fundraise, but payment is guaranteed.

Roles:

Amelia: (18-20) Looking for a female-presenting actor to play fourteen. Amelia is shy and reserved, still trying to figure out where she fits in the world. Over the course of the film she discovers her sexuality and learns to trust and advocate for herself.

Sandy: (18-20) Looking for a female-presenting actor to play fourteen. Sandy is energetic and caring, often coming on far too strong. Her manic energy first makes Amelia uncomfortable, but their differences make the two more drawn to each other.

Garrett: (20-24) Looking for a male-presenting actor with a charming energy. Garrett is a lifeguard who works at the summer camp. Garrett is about to start college, but feels lost and unsatisfied with his life as-is.

Lauren: (20-24) Looking for a female-presenting actor. Lauren is Amelia’s counselor at the summer camp, who doesn’t like her job.
