Statewide – Roy W Dean Film Grant – Deadline march 31 – fee

The deadline for the first the Roy W. Dean Film Grant for 2020 is coming up fast.  All entries for the grant for independent filmmakers must be submitted by March 31st.

 

Celebrating its 28th year, the Roy W. Dean Film Grant seeks projects in need of help getting finished that are unique and make a contribution to society.  Winner will receive $3,500 cash and thousands more in film production services.  Grant is open to documentary films, narrative features, short films, and web series.  Student films are welcome.  Projects must be budgeted under $500k.

 

All Filmmakers Who Apply to Grant Get Free Consultation

 

Unique among grants, non-profit grant sponsor From the Heart Productions offers each grant applicant a 15-minute consultation.  Filmmakers can get advice on how to fund their film, build up a database of donors, market their film, and more.

 

In addition to the  $3,500 cash prize, winner will receive donations including 40% deduction on color, editing, and sound from ProMedia, and 30% discount in equipment rental from AbelCine Tech,Inc.
