Georgetown University Online Course via Zoom – Introduction to Screenwriting – July 11- Aug 18 – $495

Georgetown University’s Center for Continuing and Professional Education is offering Introduction to Screenwriting, this summer via the virtual video conferencing interface Zoom.

This affordable six-week class is being taught by Kevin Downs, an independent filmmaker/writer who has written screenplays and held key creative positions with several Academy, Emmy, and Grammy Award-winning/nominated producers, directors, and recording artists. Many of Kevin’s former students are now working professionals at such established companies as DreamWorks, PBS, Showtime, and ESPN.

Our Zoom interface will host a digital but otherwise identical experience to our in-person classroom settings. The class begins on July 11, and enrolment is limited. A stable Internet connection and smart device with a built-in microphone and webcam are required to participate.
