Statewide – Virtual Screening of ’50 Over’ documentary – June 17 – $10

The Byrd Theatre is hosting a virtual (via Zoom) Q&A session tomorrow evening (Wednesday, June 17, 2020) at 7pm with Richmond VPA Board Member and filmmaker Teddy Leinbach and hosted by Byrd Theatre Board Member and Richmond VPA Chair Steve Taylor.

 

They will be discussing Teddy’s documentary film 50 Over50 Over documents an epic road trip to play golf in all 50 states, on 50 courses, in 50 days.  It addresses public golf courses vs private clubs and issues of diversity and inclusion. Teddy is donating 50% of the proceeds to the Byrd Theatre and 50% of the proceeds to Swing Pals. Swing pals is a favorite charity in Teddy’s hometown of Durham, NC and featured in the film. Swings Pals mission is to build health and strong character in underprivileged kids by introducing them to sport and golf.
