Non-union student film seeking out two leads; one extra with a speaking line; any and all willing participants to be extras on this wonderful production.

Ms. Understanding is a sci-fi romance film set in the year 2110. It follows an autistic male named Boris as he falls in love with an AI Android named Mary Jane. As the film goes on, Boris has to not just deal with being in a relationship, let alone one with an AI, but the challenges that his autism present him.

Looking for:

1). Mary Jane – Female, white, early 20s. Mary Jane is a humanoid robot/AI who, like Boris, must try to live in and navigate a world filled with people resistant to her existence within society. She tries her best with Boris – and her instantaneous access to databases and programs in her mind certainly helps – but she is looking for something less manufactured and more human. Love is what she strives for, and she questions whether Boris can give her such a thing.
