PBS NewsHour is looking to hire a Foreign Affairs Producer. In this position, you will produce foreign news related segments for the PBS NewsHour website and broadcast. You will participate in senior strategic planning for all foreign coverage in addition to pitching, developing and producing stories. We’ll also look to you to work with and mentor junior staff. You must be experienced in producing network quality stories for day of and longer form features, which includes shooting and editing. You also much be able to work independently in a fast-paced newsroom setting and adjust smoothly to changing assignments with deadline pressures. Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum four (4) years’ experience in broadcast and/or digital journalism, to include high quality video production and experience covering foreign affairs.
