Please join us for a presentation by longtime VPA lobbyist Josh Myers where he will answer questions about the state of film incentives and how you can get involved in legislative activity.

Josh has represented the VPA on Capitol Hill for more than a decade, helping to increase the Virginia film incentive program in the process.

Josh assists clients by representing their interests before the Virginia General Assembly and various state agencies providing strategic guidance on Virginia’s political process. Josh specializes in membership driven associations and understands the challenge of balancing association members’ conflicting opinions. In addition, Josh has represented clients operating in a variety of industry sectors including economic development, regulated utilities, education access for students with special needs, early education programs, telecommunications, information technology, procurement/contracting and other industry specific initiatives. Previously, Josh served as Chief of Staff to former Virginia House of Delegates Majority Leader, now United States Congressman Morgan Griffith. Josh has been advocating for his clients before state government for over a decade.
