“A Broken Frame”

Logline: Burdened by a constant ringing in their ears that they can’t control and only seems to be relieved by the presence of water, young swimmer Evan must make a choice; will their obsession with water consume them, or will they make peace with who they are?
Evan (18-30): Very neat and put together. Every single thing they do is precisely to better and become the superior version of themself. Their precise lifestyle is soon shattered after they pushed themself too far.
Special Notes:
1) The role of Evan is not gender specific. We invite and encourage individuals of all gender expressions to audition.
2) This role will require comfortability in water/beginner swimmer experience.
3) This role does NOT require nudity but will require the use of swimwear in one scene.
Non-Union student short film shooting November 17th + 18th + 24th + 25th in the Virginia Beach area. No travel/transport/housing provided. Unpaid, but Food + IMDb Credit + Access to Film for Reels + Submission of the Film to Festivals is provided.
