Post Production Crew needed for Shadow of a Flame short film; a surreal, romantic nightmare blending psychological horror and drama.
Logline: An amnesiac couple fights to stick together in an uncannily romantic cabin where dark forces reset them whenever they try to leave.
Composer – Produces a pensive, romantic score that may be mixed in, repeated, and built upon throughout the film. The score will accompany a wide flow of cinematic genres, while staying true to its own motif; driving an underlying consistency in the narrative. Familiarity with both score and classical composition is preferred.
Sound Editor – Mixes scene audio and brings in SFX, foley, score, wild tracks, and any other audio clips needed for dynamic and expressive sound design. Foley, DaVinci Resolve Fairlight, and basic music theory experience is a plus. Initial delivery will be in stereo, but a surround mix may be requested. Levels will be optimized, in turn, for festivals and online distribution.
VFX Editor – Livens storytelling aesthetics with digital color and detail manipulation. Ability to blend between genre styles: drama, romance, and horror, will be required. Experience using Davinci Resolve, delivering to both web and theater SDR standards, and grading Sony S-Log footage is preferred. (VFX Artist experience is a huge plus)
Colorist – Enhances footage and adds basic elements through compositing and effects. Expected work includes general masking, adding visual flair and “reverse glow” to silhouetted figures, covering small reflections, and a very short gunshot composite. Workflow is flexible, however experience in Fusion is preferred. (Colorist Experience is a huge plus)

Sound Editor – $625 (Open to negotiation)
Colorist – $325 (Open to negotiation)
VFX Editor – $300 (minimal effects needed, open to negotiation)
