Cadence Theatre Company in partnership with Virginia Rep is pleased to offer this workshops taught by Emma Orelove.

Get the experience of working in a one-on-one classroom setting in NYC! You will work on-camera with Instructor Emma Orelove, using a specific side she has provided. These sides will be sent in advance to the class, and you will choose one. Emma will then work with you on your prepared piece, providing feedback and adjustments, including the technicalities of putting an audition on tape. Your scene will be recorded by John Moon and emailed to you following the class! Please come with your sides audition-ready.

Emma Orelove has had a crush on the theatre since age 7. Born in Richmond, she was raised through SPARC and Virginia Rep. She has over 22 years of experience and has worked professionally in a dozen of the States and in Italy. Upon moving to New York, Emma’s pursuits expanded to include screen work. She has since shot 3 films, starred in 3 music videos, filmed an industrial, started her own production company, and recently wrapped a feature film as a principal. She is currently working with one of the largest commercial agencies in NYC and working towards becoming the next Wendy’s girl.
