Local filmmakers, helmed by Brandon Hughes, have a powerful, important project in the works titled ANGELS.

After returning from war, a young Black veteran battling with depression makes the decision to end his life. On his last day, he has an unexpected interaction that changes his perspective.

About the project: We are a group of filmmakers committed to telling honest, passionate stories, who live and work in Richmond, Virginia. From the perspective of a Black military veteran, we tell a story about human dignity and compassion in the face of trauma and depression.
