Storyline: A young woman is faced with anxiety around meeting her girlfriend’s parents. She confronts her past selves to overcome her fear.
Roles:
Eliana – 18-24, WOC, tough exterior but soft interior, builds walls to protect herself, has sharp tongue (MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH SAME-SEX KISSING)
(IMPORTANT NOTE: The roles of “Eliana” and her 18-year-old and 16-year-old counterparts will be played by the same actress. Descriptions for those roles are below.)
18-Year-Old Eliana – sadness inside and out, in her own world, but has a sharp tongue
16-Year-Old Eliana – your average partying and sexually active teenager, like an Insta-filter came to life, sharp tongue
12-Year-Old Eliana – 10-14 (NO YOUNGER THAN 10), WOC, pretty much the embodiment of the goth scene, sharp tongue
Francesca – 18-24, any ethnicity, nervous energy but nurturing and lovely, kinda motherly but not overbearing (MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH SAME-SEX KISSING)
