Storyline:
It’s 1992, the days of Nirvana and Grunge, and Jeremy, fresh out of college, is living a carefree life of friends, girlfriends, and the wild music scene of the early ’90s. Jeremy writes for a local magazine reviewing live bands and interviewing musicians, bartending on weekends, and basking in the joys of being young, wild, and free. Despite a smattering of childhood experiences, including strange meetings with a being he called Grandma, aliens are the last thing on Jeremy’s mind. That’s when they come roaring back into his life, detailed abductions so terrifying that he changes his work schedule so he can stay awake at night and keep vigil over his surroundings. This is the true story of a young man who didn’t believe in aliens, who had laughed at the idea of UFOs and abductions, until they began snatching him out of his bed in the middle of the night, revealing to him what will soon be disclosed — that aliens aren’t just flashing lights in the skies. They are complex beings meddling in the lives of humans and nudging humanity in an unknown direction.
Scene Synopsis:
1972 Richmond, VA, 6 year-old Jeremy has a nightmare encounter when his grandmother visits, takes him on a late night walk and is inexplicably revealed to be an alien. The first “visit” of a lifetime of alien visits, adult Jeremy is trying to come to terms with.
Seeking the following:
[YOUNG JEREMY] 5-7 years old, Caucasian boy.
A smart, inquisitive, floppy haired boy filled with wonder. Jeremy is an independent Gen-X six-year-old. He loves his grandmother and is happy to see her during an unexpected trip. Hand in hand while taking a late night walk under the street lights, Jeremy notices his grandmother’s hand appears long and bony and looks like a claw. He gazes up and is startled to see large, black eyes peering down at him from under the dark hood.
