Character BIOS
[ELIAS] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 20-24] [ETHNICITY: BLACK, AFRO-LATINO]
A native New Yorker (passable NY accent required). Elias inherited his attitude from the streets but his sweetness & sensitivity from his mother. He keeps a memo on his phone that holds a list of goals to achieve for each decade of his life- ultimately, its success and happiness that drives him to be better. HIs overactive imagination keeps him guessing what the meaning of life is and whether or not his relationship with Samuel is sustainable. The last thing he wants is to be in an unfulfilling relationship.

[SAMUEL] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: EARLY 20’s] [ETHNICITY: ANY]
“Super rich kids with nothing but loose ends.” Frank Ocean wrote that song about Samuel. Coming from an affluent family, he has never experienced any real hardship, so he creates conflict for excitement. Through his devilish charm, intelligence, and charisma, Samuel navigates every space he occupies to get what he wants – and it always works out. Way deep down he really does care for Elias, he just cares about himself a whole lot more.
