Casting call for a sci-fi romance short film. Shooting in Richmond, VA with tentative projected dates: January 7-9, 2022. This is a non-union and paid opportunity ($100/day).

Logline: Two people who have long forgotten each other find themselves locked in a closed theatre together on the night before its demolition. Isolated in their own little void, Ethan and Hope explore their pasts while determining their future.

ROLE (lead)
Ethan: Male, late 20s/early 30s, any ethnicity, knowledge of American Sign Language a plus, but not required.
Ethan is a lost soul. While a romantic at heart, he has been beaten down by life and an abusive relationship to the point of giving up. His fateful night in the Transient Midnight Theatre with Hope reminds him of his love for art and that the things that make him unique are worth preserving. He wants more than anything to unlearn the sense of self-doubt and passivity he’s settled into as an adult and to overcome his constant loneliness.
