Synopsis:
Two friends turned lovers attempt to hide their new found relationship during their college reunion trip to the mountains after finding out their best friends have secretly ended their own five year long relationship.

Character Description
Penny is an incredibly smart and determined individual. She isn’t always the easiest to get to know but when surrounded by those she loves and feels comfortable with she can be energetic, fun, and a little dorky. She’s a planner and diving into the unknown is something she is not at all a fan of. An artist who keeps a small circle of friends and cares deeply for those in her life. She’s been friends with her college roommate Harper since high school. Since meeting Jacob in college, Penny has developed a strong bond with him that often hints at something deeper. But when she learns about Harper’s failing relationship, Penny struggles with anxieties about the longevity of her own romance with Jacob. There are kiss scenes with the actor for JACOB. There is a stunt scene involving jumping from a tall height, possibly a waterfall or another high platform into water.

Jacob has a childlike wonder about him. He doesn’t take life too seriously and can find joy in the simplest of things. It doesn’t take him long to realize when he wants something but he isn’t the best about confidently going after those things. He has a tendency to ride the middle of the road because he wants to keep the people in his life happy and getting along. A great sense of humor and an uncanny ability to make those around him feel safe and loved. He knew almost immediately after meeting Penny that he loved her, but his fear that she would reject him and he’d lose her kept him from expressing his feelings. One of his closest friends (second to Penny) is Eddie. There are kiss scenes with the actor for PENNY. A matter-of-fact, go-getter. Worked hard all her life to get ahead in her career and expects that same kind of work to apply to her relationships. Doesn’t appreciate people not pulling their weight or when they don’t agree with her. Not good at compromising but is also extremely loyal and doesn’t give up on people easily. Comes off a bit harsh but is deeply sensitive and just wants to be surrounded by people who care about her as much as she cares for them. Her first love and former boyfriend, Eddie, taught her that it’s okay to be honest with people and let them in. Now, she struggles with letting go of their connection. There are kiss scenes with the actor for EDDIE. There is a stunt scene involving jumping from a tall height, possibly a waterfall or another high platform into water.

The slightly older fun guy in the group. Insanely smart, pot-loving, laid-back friend and classic fifth wheel. People thought he was lame as a freshman in college so he befriended all the newbies as a sophomore because they thought he was cool. Has enough book smarts to be an engineer but isn’t socially aware enough to have any clue about the drama going on with his friends behind the scenes.
