Richmond – Actors – Casting Call For One Day Performance – April 2020 – Paid

TALENT:
• Seeking TWO actors for a graduate thesis performance focusing on gesture within the performance of an interpersonal relationship – a vignette of everyday life bracketed by the ghost of the actors’ own movements, granting the audience a deeper examination of minute gestures within these moments

• Open to any sex/age/ethnicity

• Pay is flat rate $400/actor – this includes rehearsals and one-day performance

DETAILS:
• This is a one act depicting a married couple together while projection mapped animations of their movements play out on the staging behind them. **Anyone interested in performing gestures within this context are encouraged to audition*

• A single performance will be mid-April 2020, but will require availability for several rehearsals leading up to the final performance

• This will be a multimedia stage production produced with a competitive grant from VCUarts. Documentation of the performance will be a part of a graduate thesis exhibition and paper for the VCUarts graduate school
