Norfolk – The Virginia Festival of Jewish Film – Jan. 20-28 – Ticketed

The Virginia Festival of Jewish Film opens its 25th season on January 20. Film lovers from all over are invited to see national and international movies from fascinating documentaries to full feature dramas created by award-winning Jewish writers and filmmakers. This year, 11 films are presented in multiple locales around the Hampton Roads area. Guest speakers accompany some films, with opening night and jazz night venues boasting delicious catered food.

A pre-event showing of Marshall on January 15 at TCC’s Roper Performing Arts Center, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr Day. This film event is a partnership between the Community Relations Council of United Jewish Federation of Tidewater and Hands United Building Bridges (HUBB), and will include a panel discussion after.

The Virginia Festival of Jewish Film is presented by Alma & Howard Laderberg and Patricia & Avraham Ashkenazi.
