Lynchburg University Student film:

Casting Call for male actor, between 25-35, any race, preferable muscular frame to play a hitman named Michael in an upcoming short film ‘A Killing Conscience.’

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Michael is a relatively young, but skilled hitman who has been killing for 5 years. He’s focused, and confident, but has recently been feeling incomplete and empty. Traumatized after killing a target in front of a child, he experiences a moral crisis questioning his purpose. Hoping to find a cure for his nightmares, he starts an online dating profile and matches with Jessica Hammerstien – the woman his employers will task him to kill.

Synopsis:

A Killing Conscience is a short film is about Michael, a hitman experiencing a moral crisis after a job gone wrong. When he decides to try to leave the world of violence behind him to start a relationship and help quell his recent nightmares, his employers will do whatever they can to squash this new mindset. When his next contract is on the woman Michael’s matched with on an online dating service, he’ll have to decide where his loyalties lie and if an act of obedience is worth the risk of potential love
