Join the Virginia Film Office on Wednesday, May 27 at 1 PM on Instagram Live for our first interview in a series of talks we’re simply calling VIFFL Conversations — intimate chats between film office director Andy Edmunds and various friends in the industry with strong Virginia ties.

We begin with a special one; Mark Richard, the showrunner and writer of Virginia-filmed limited series ‘The Good Lord Bird’.

Mark (Fear the Walking Dead, Tyrant, Hell on Wheels, and many more credits, accolades, you name it) filmed ‘The Good Lord Bird’ in Central Virginia in 2019. The series will air on Showtime on August 9.
