Student Comedy Web Series Looking For Actors Aged 40-60
A new comedy web series is being filmed on the William & Mary campus in Williamsburg.
“The Creative Types” is a funny and affectionate look at creative college students who make films, act in plays, write stories and struggle (sometimes in vain) to express themselves creatively.
The show needs male and female actors aged 40-60 to play parents of college students in several scenes.
This is a faculty-run project (written and directed by a professor from Film Studies) but shot entirely on campus with a student crew and (mostly) student cast.
Audition Info:
Thursday Feb. 23 from 6pm-9pm
Saturday Feb. 25 from 1pm-5pm
Swem Library in the Ford Classroom
400 Landrum Drive
Williamsburg, VA 23186
No appointment necessary. Come to either day. Bring a resume. Audition will consist of cold readings of scenes from short comedy sketches.
After the episodes are edited, there will be a marathon screening of the series at a theatre on campus. And then the entire series will be put on YouTube.
Email with questions. Thanks.
