Virtual – Discussion with Production Designer David Crank – May 12 – $5/free

Join the Virginia Production Alliance on Wednesday, May 12 at 7PM for an exclusive online interview and Q&A with Virginia native David Crank, a 2021 Oscar nominee for the Tom Hanks film News of the World.

Mr. Crank has worked for more than two decades in film, including Knives Out, There Will Be Blood, Concussion, Hannibal, and Fools Rush In. He was also the art director for the HBO miniseries John Adams and the Steven Spielberg feature Lincoln, both of which were filmed in Virginia.

In addition to Spielberg, Mr. Crank has worked with directors Terrence Malick, Paul Thomas Anderson, Rian Johnson, and Paul Greengrass. He is a graduate of the College of William & Mary.

This special event is free for VPA members and only $5 for guests. Following the interview, there will be an audience Q&A.
