The Bethesda Film Fest is accepting submissions for the 9th annual festival in April 2021
Short (5-30 minute), documentary films by filmmakers from Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. will be considered. Films must have been completed within the last two years. All topics are eligible. A film by a young filmmaker, under age 18, may also be chosen.
The 2021 festival will be completely virtual, there will not be an in-person screening. Films selected for the festival will be made available to virtual attendees ahead of the filmmaker Q&A discussion on April 16, 2021.
Selected Films: Selected filmmakers will receive a $1,000 honorarium. Young filmmakers will receive a $250 honorarium.

Selected filmmakers are required to attend the virtual Q&A discussion on April 16.
