College Student Production Awards
Now Accepting Entries!
Do you know an upcoming star who’s majoring in communications/broadcasting, and has great work to enter?
We’re accepting applications from both undergraduate and graduate college students into our Student Production Awards!
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences National Capital Chesapeake Bay (NATAS-NCCB) Chapter sponsors special awards for excellence in student production for college news or programs, in a program or segment produced and executed by students at a university, college, or technical/vocational school in the NATAS-NCCB region. A crystal pillar will be awarded to the school. Students responsible for the production will each receive a Student Production Certificate.
Eligibility
- Entries must have been produced and executed by students between January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016 under faculty supervision (advisory only)
- Previously submitted entries are NOT eligible for re-submission
- Entries MAY be submitted either by an individual student or the school
- Entries must be submitted AS AIRED
- Entries must conform to the length as specified in each of the individual categories (see list below)
- Group entries can have a maximum of eight student names
- Administrative fee: $30 per entry
- Follow all rules included in the College Student Production Awards
Entries should reside on YouTube or Vimeo for judging, and you can learn more about the categories in our College Student Production Awards.
Our deadline is Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 12:00 pm EST. Students must attend a school in either Maryland, DC, or Virginia.
