Synopsis:

After their daughter is born with an abnormal growth, a family is faced with the decision on whether or not to put their five year old daughter through a risky surgery.

Character BIOS

[BABY DAISY] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 0-2]

Daisy is the main character of the story. She is the daughter of Ryan and Melissa Dawnley and is born into a wealthy lifestyle. She is born with what her parents consider a birth defect. Baby Daisy is in one scene where Ryan and Melissa hold her while discussing medical options with the Dr.

[5 YR. OLD DAISY] [GENDER: FEMALE]* [AGE: 4-6]

Five years later, Daisy is as cute as a baby doll. She has a very sweet way about her. She is a Daddy’s Girl. 5 year old Daisy has the most lines out of all the ages.

*There is a potential that we will be flying 5 year old Daisy on a harness with a professional to train/supervise.

[7 YR. OLD DAISY] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 6-9]

Still adorable, Daisy attempts to remember her childhood.

[13 YR. OLD DAISY] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 12-14]

Daisy is a strong young teen navigating the lies of her mom and the truth of her past. This is a speaking role.

[MELISSA DAWNLEY] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: EARLY-MID 30s]

Daisy’s mom. She has a strong personality and is very protective of Daisy. She cares about what her high-society community thinks of her and suffers much insecurity over Daisy’s “defect.” There is a harshness about her. She loves Daisy but shows it in all the wrong ways..

[RYAN DAWNLEY] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: MID 30s]

Daisy’s father and Melissa Dawnley’s husband. He is very caring and sweet. He has a special relationship with Daisy. Attractive and approachable nice-guy. He wants what is best for Daisy but ultimately must choose between Daisy and Melissa.

[DR. LABREA] [GENDER: FEMALE/MALE] [AGE: 40s]

Daisy’s pediatrician. S/he can give the harsh truth but also cares about her/his patients.

[MRS. BRAXTON] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 30s +]

She notices Daisy’s “defect” at Ryan Dawnley’s birthday party and causes a scene that ultimately brings about the climax of the film. She is nosey, old-money, and rude.
