Statewide – Roy W. Dean Grant – Deadline Oct 31 – Fee

The Last grant for 2020 is closing on October 31, 2020, you still have time to apply.

 

Created to help independent filmmakers get their films started or completed, the final Roy W. Dean Grant of 2020 is now open for applications.  Grant winner will receive $3,000 cash as well as approximately $28,000 more in film goods and production services.

 

Founded in 1993 by  Carole Dean, President of top rated non-profit  From the Heart Productions, the Roy W. Dean Grant is awarded to filmmakers with a unique film that makes a contribution to society.  It is open to documentaries, features, short films and web series budgeted under $500K.  Students are welcome to apply.

 

Every filmmaker that applies receives a free consultation on their project.

 

The $3,000 cash prize is supplemented by donations from companies and individuals that support independent filmmakers.  This includes a

$15,000.00 in original music written by well-known composer David Raiklen (Exclusive of recording costs), $1,620.00 for one consultation a month from Carole Dean on financing your film, 30% Discount by Jerry Deaton for Music Post Production Services at AudioKut,  $600 in closed captioning from NetCaptioning, and much more from heartfelt donors.
