Statewide – Roy W. Dean Film Grant – Deadline Oct 31 – Fee

The deadline is almost here for the last Roy W. Dean Film Grant of the year.  Applications must be received by Halloween, October 31st.  But filmmakers need not be scared as that still leaves just enough time for them to get in their submissions.

The winning filmmaker will receive $3,000 cash and $30,000 in film services to shoot and finish their project, including a film score, animation, and more. The Roy W. Dean Grant seeks unique films that make a contribution to society.  The grant accepts feature films, documentaries, web series, and short films.

All Applicants Get a Free Consultation on Their Project

The Roy W. Dean Film Grant is the very rare grant that gives feedback and suggestions for improvement on projects to those who apply.  Each applicant is offered a free consultation from a member of the non-profit From The Heart Productions which sponsors the grant.

The team at FTHP listened to me.  Sometimes it’s easy to forget how important that is.  After one phone call I felt inspired and re-energized about my project. Suddenly, I had new players on my team”– Jen Tate
