Statewide – Bethesda Film Festival accepting Submissions – Deadline Jan 6 – $1000 Honorarium

The Bethesda Film Fest is accepting submissions for the

8th annual festival in March 2020

 

Short (5-30 minute), documentary films by filmmakers from Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. will be considered. Films must have been completed within the last two years. All topics are eligible. A film by a young filmmaker, under age 18, may also be chosen.

 

Selected Films: Selected filmmakers will receive a $1,000 honorarium. Young filmmakers will receive a $250 honorarium. Selected films will be shown at all three festival screenings.

 

Festival Dates: Friday, March 27 & Saturday, March 28, 2020

Screenings take place at Imagination Stage in downtown Bethesda, MD. Filmmakers are required to attend the screening and speak about their work.

 

Submission Deadline: Monday, January 6, 2020
