“Shine: The Legacy of Roanoke’s Advertising Men and Women” to Premier at Grandin Theatre

 

Premier of the feature length documentary, which captures Roanoke’s unique place in advertising history. A labor of love, advertising copy writer Todd Marcum and filmmaker Dave Perry spent four years capturing interviews with Roanoke’s iconic advertising professionals. The film features a host of archival commercials, as well as a personality filled cast of Roanoke advertising characters that includes more than 40 men and women sharing stories from an industry that helped shape the city we know today.
