Richmond – vertical filmmaking for teens class – Sept-Nov 2026 – Tuition

From Cadence Theatre of Richmond

An 8-week class this Fall on the basics of filmmaking with the emerging vertical ‘mobile-first’ format. Participants will develop skills in concepting, directing, shooting, and editing while collaborating in teams to create short films on smartphones and Canva. Each student will experience different roles in film production, to gain confidence and tech knowledge, bringing ideas to life in this new format. Exec Prod is WIFV member Va. Bertholet. As UK’s Raindance Film Fest says, “vertical filmmaking is the future of storytelling.”
