Honey and Good Things is a short fictional narrative about two girls who fall in love with each other. Their relationship is seen through all stages: innocence, happiness, sadness, anger, frustration, respect and love. Ultimately, they recognize they’ve lost themselves in one another and must separate to reach their own individual potential. Sometimes in order to love others the way you’re meant to, you must first journey alone to love yourself the way you need to.
Characters:
Woman #1 (18 to mid-20s): Charming, relaxed, sarcastic, creative, and hopeful. She’s a photographer and spends her time taking pictures of what/who she’s passionate about. Throughout the plot, she transforms between the happiest version of herself to the saddest and most distant. She recognizes that she must find happiness within herself again before she can do so in a relationship.
Woman #2 (18 to mid-20s, preferred experience with the piano but not necessary): Thoughtful, honest, charismatic, and passionate. She’s a musician who plays the piano. She is graceful and helpful but can be stubborn in an argument. She’s very much in love with Woman #1 but over time becomes unhappy with her due to her acting distant. She becomes more argumentative and annoyed until she decides to be strong and walk away.
