The Richmond 48 Hour Film Project, Richmond’s favorite filmmaking competition, returns horror style this October with filmmaking October 20-22 and world premiere screenings on October 29–just in time for Halloween!

 

We Made Room for 4 More!

In record time–just 18 days–the RVA Horror 48 reached capacity with 24 teams! BUT, we made room for four more teams! So if you were hoping for your chance to participate, go ahead and register HERE and make your horror movie in time to see it on the big screen at BTM Bow Tie Movieland on Halloween weekend!

If you’re not in a position to lead your own team, but you have skills to lend to another team, let us know, and we’ll help pair you with a team for you to collaborate with! All positions needed: DPs, drone operators, boom operators, sound mixers, composers, PAs, script supervisors, writers, editors, costumers, SFX, HMUAs and more! Join the fun!

Actors! Got a blood curdling scream? Can you play a good zombie? Wanna be in the RVA Horror 48? This is your chance to audition IN PERSON, be seen, and interact with the filmmakers who are looking for talent! Audition takes place October 5. Must be available to shoot October 20-22. Sign-up is open!
