Award-winning actor Scott Wichmann (Loving, Lincoln, Legends & Lies, Turn) will be joining Eva DeVirgilis’ on-camera class to explore making the transition from the stage to the world of Film and Television using your 1-minute monologue.

 

Bring your 1-minute contemporary monologue to workshop.

Monologues must be memorized.

In this 4 hour acting intensive we will cover the essentials of acting for the camera in a creative, supportive atmosphere; allowing actors to be vulnerable and take risks.

Scott Wichmann- Scott Wichmann is a Graduate of Wagner College and a native of Pittsfield, Massachusetts. A throwback musical comedian with a flair for physical comedy, Scott makes his home in Richmond, Virginia. He is known for his role as John Adams in Legends & Lies (2016), Loving (2016), Shooting the Prodigal (2015), TURN: Washington’s Spies (2014), Lincoln (2012), and Lake Effects (2012) as well as a long, fruitful career on stage.

All About Eva : Hailing from NYC, Eva now brings her experience as an actor & coach to the Mid-Atlantic Region. Eva studied under the prominent actor Vincent D’Onofrio for 2.5 years. Her solo-show In My Chair – based on her recent global speaking and research tour in which she gathered inspiring stories from women around the world – will premiere next season at Virginia Repertory Theatre in collaboration with Cadence Theatre. Featured TV/Film roles include: Law & Order; Criminal Intent, Turn:Washington’s Spies, Legends and Lies, and most recently Demus directed by Samuel Roukin.
