Richmond – James River Shorts Award Screening – Nov 30 – Tickets

Don’t forget the 2018 James River Short Film finalists screening and awards is this Friday, November 30, 6:30 pm, at the VMFA, Leslie Cheeks Theater.

Tickets available through the VMFA ticket office, in advance or day of the show. This year’s juried slate features 11 finalists from the U.S., Belgium, Kosovo, and India, with the designation of $2000 to the winning entrants by Kate Elizabeth Fowler, filmmaker and educator, plus the Kathryn Stephens VA Filmmaker and the ever-popular People’s Choice Awards.

James River Shorts is VA’s oldest film competition, dating to 1994 and is sponsored by the Virginia Film Office and the James River Film Society
