There are some things going on with the Groovecats I wanted to share with you.
1.  A new training opportunity designed to create a second cast of improvisers for TV
2.  Our December 7th show and our Saturday night shows EVERY week in 2020
3. The paid gigs we have available through UVA
As we enter our second year in Richmond, the Groovecats are having more fun than ever.
We are looking forward to our Holiday show at 8pm Dec 7th (If you wish to attend please grab your tix soon as there are only 13 tickets left — hope to see you soon.)
We have decided to perform a Saturday night WEEKLY show at 8pm on our stage in the PLANT ZERO BUILDING beginning the first week of 2020.  We want everyone to know that Saturdays in Richmond means comedy with the Groovecats!!!  You are invited to our cast parties after every show, of course.
During these live weekly shows the cameras will be rolling.  We will be airing the shows live as they happen on Facebook and we will be compiling highlights to help us sell our show to a small or large TV network.
Our  group is maturing very well.  They are getting better and funnier each month.
We are now looking to put together a second improv group for the same stage, online and TV purposes.
To make it easy for folks to get involved, we have created a training program for this Second improv which will not overwhelm your schedule or your finances.  For only $50 per month, our new class will meet every Monday from 545-645PM.  It will take only one fun hour out of your week to be a Groovecat. Of course, you will have opportunities to come to jam sessions for more stage time and to our shows and our cast parties.  We will work with you to get you on our online TV show just like every other Groovecat.
We are also offering our Groovecats work with UVA doing Improv scenes for $25/hour.  The program has grown greatly and they need lots of actors. Pay is $25/hour.
The new training program begins the first week of January 2020.
