SONG OF THE COMMON LOON After years of being addicted and on the street, Richard has decided he’s going home. What follows are drug-fueled memories of growing up and how he got to this awful place interwoven with the troubling real life encounters that so many in Richard’s situation face everyday.
RICHARD’S FATHER: Caucasian Male, 40s. Wants something better for RICHARD, but uses violence to teach him. Good looking, presentable, upstanding business man, can turn on a dime. Intimidating. Must be physically fit, comfortable with improv, working outdoors. Stunt experience a plus.
$125/day +10% if agent – Shoots 1 day – March 3rd or 4th, 2018
THUG: Caucasian Male, 40s. Life continues to be hard for this once kind soul. His thuggery is a product of necessity due to his addiction to drugs. Can be cruel, even known to kick a lying dog. Must be physically fit, comfortable with impro v, working outdoors. Stunt experience a plus.
$125/day +10% if agent – Shoots 1 day – March 3rd or 4th, 2018
MOTHER & SON: Actual mother/son duos preferred.
MOTHER: Caucasian Female, 30s-40s. Mother of small boy. Lives an idilic life in a secluded cottage. Panicked when she finds her young son speaking to a stranger (RICHARD) through th e living room window. Must get her son to safety and asses the danger of the situation quickly. Actual mother/son duos preferred.
$125/day +10% if agent – Shoots 1 day – Shoot date: March 2018 – Exact date TBD, will be an evening shoot.
SON: Caucasian Male, 4-7 yrs old. Innocence incarnate. Stares unknowingly at a stranger (RICHARD) trying to speak to him through a his window. At the absolute beginning of life and purity and represents everything RICHARD wants to get back to.
Actual mother/son duos preferred.
