STUDENT SENIOR THESIS FILM – “Call Me Bitter”

I am looking for three male supporting actors for my senior thesis film! If you would like to audition, please submit a headshot alongside a self-tape of a short dramatic monologue of your choosing. Additionally, please include the name of the role(s) you are interested in.

All audition materials should be submitted to carrjm4@vcu.edu. Please include, “CMB CASTING AUDITION” in the subject line.

ABOUT THE FILM:
Logline: You are not your father’s daughter…
Carter Johnson struggles through a normal workday until her past overtakes her.

Characters needed:
KENNETH JOHNSON (supporting, age 30+): The manipulative and unpredictable father of Carter. He is quick to anger and struggles connecting with his daughter. He comes off very calm and collected, but can snap into violent action in the matter of a second.
BEN (supporting, age 18-28): The nonchalant partner to Carter. He is stubborn just like her, but has a good heart. He is easily frustrated but is a comforting presence for Carter.
UNNAMED CUSTOMER: (supporting, age 30+): A very inappropriate and rude customer. Easily offended and quick to defend himself.
