Maxwell’s Mom – Maxine
BLACK, late 30s – early 40s

Purpose of character:
She understands that Maxwell is an artist but want him to choose a more “stable” career choice without giving him the ability to prove himself.

Personality:
The more understanding parent. She wants to see Maxwell succeed. She’s funny, quirky, outspoken, and struggles to let people help her. She hangs Maxwell’s paintings on the walls. (nurse practitioner)

STYLE:
Very put together. Kind of business casual, academia style.
