Meet You, to Find Me is a student thesis film, and we are
working on fundraising to ensure compensation for our leads Andrew, Grandmother, and Elizabeth. Filming will be taking place for two days in Richmond, VA and one day in Buckroe Beach, VA.
Filming will be Friday October 20th – October 22nd.
Exact dates for shooting will be given closer to production.

Andrew (Shooting for 3 days):
Our lead, Andrew, (white, 18-25) is a queer college student with a deep passion for art and music. He tends to feel his emotions deeply, and uses his emotions to his advantage while painting abstract inspired works. The film follows a deeply emotional journey for him, and we are looking for an actor who can help channel this journey and go above and beyond.

Grandmother (Shooting for 1 day):
Grandmother, (white, 50-65), is a figure that helps Andrew find balance in his life. She has curly white hair, and is soft spoken. She wears white and is often sunkissed as she spends most of her time on the beach. Being the voice of reason for Andrew, we are looking for a Grandmother that shows Andrew compassion and is able to relieve some of the burden he has been feeling.

*The scenes for Grandmother will be taking place at Buckroe Beach, VA. We are looking for someone willing to travel, or someone in the Hampton/Virginia Beach area. If extended travel is needed, compensation may be provided.*

Elizabeth (Shooting for 2 days):
Elizabeth, (any ethnicity, 18-25), is Andrew’s best friend. She is bubbly and bright, and has been his closest confidant for years. As much as she lightens up his day, she also knows how to listen to him whenever he needs it. We are looking for an actress who compliments Andrew, and provides a warm comforting energy for our lead in his hardest moments.
