Richmond – 48 Hour Film Project Workshop – May 14 – VPA members free, $5 non members

Always wanted to take part in the 48 Hour Film Project, but never have? Or you have, but want to hear how others do it? Join the Virginia Production Alliance for a discussion and to get answers to questions you’ve always had but were afraid to ask.

This panel discussion will cover what the 48 Hour Film Project is, the basic rules, a timeline of events for this year’s Richmond 48 HFP and best practices for participating in the 48. Panelists include RVA 48HFP producer Lisa Giles, and Project alumni Raasa Leela de Montebello and Dan Lee, who will share their experiences, philosophies and secrets to having a successful 48HFP filmmaking weekend. Attendees will also have an opportunity to see the 2017 RVA 48HFP winning film “Simon” (de Montebello) and a 2017 Best of Richmond finalist “Look Now, Look Again” (Lee).

When: May 14,2018 6-8:30 PM

Where: WCVE, 23 Sesame St

Richmond, VA 23235
