“No-Cry Sleep Solution”

Brief Synopsis:
After experiencing a vivid dream depicting a perfect family life, recently divorced David Dalton turns to lucid dreaming to recreate it. However as the false reality consumes him, he jeopardizes losing the one real relationship he has left – his son.

Casting Call:

VANESSA (female, late 20s, early 30s, WHITE) – The ex-wife and she’s beautiful and kind. She understands the turmoil that David is going through but she has moved on.

PERCY (male, Ages 7-10, WHITE) – The hyper son who gets easily distracted by his friends and sports but misses his father deeply.

FRANK (male, late 30s, early 40s, heavy-set/thick, ANY RACE) – An introverted corporate bot who works a dead-end job but tries his best to be friends with David.

GABE (male, early 20s, ANY RACE) – Your typical frat boy who started a YouTube Channel called “Gabe’s Gossip!” He explains the steps of lucid dreaming.

This is an unpaid project; no travel, transport, or housing will be provided.
All actors will have access to the completed film for their reels.

Set to shoot in time range: January 4th to January 12th (Flexible)
All filming will be done in Charlottesville/NOVA and food will be provided.
