The ODU Film Program, in conjunction with the Virginia Film Office and Kodak, will be hosting a special event on April 3rd at 7:30pm (doors at 7:00) in ODU’s University Theatre on Hampton Blvd at 46th Street in Norfolk. It’s The Walking Dead at ODU! We will be screening the season 9 finale of The Walking Dead together with its Director of Photography, Stephen Campbell. Stephen will discuss his approach to shooting the episode (and the dozens of other episodes he has lensed for the show), and how the show continues to utilize actual film to create its look. After the screening and his presentation, there will be a Q&A with the audience. This is a free event, open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis. A representative from Kodak will also be present to discuss any questions people may have about working with film. Free parking will be available in the garage across the street from the venue, on floors 3-5. We hope to see many member of the Virginia production community at the event!
