Norfolk – Casting Call for documentary – December 27th-January 25th – Paid

Casting for short documentary “1st Regiment of United States Colored Troops” being produced by the Norfolk Historical Society. Video is 15 minutes long and tells the story of the 1st Regiment during the Civil War.

Casting Call:

-Chaplin Turner (25 to 35 Year old Black Male): Chaplin Turner gives two first hand accounts of Civil War battles that the regiment fought in. Actor should have short hair and look like a soldier. Pay for half day of filming = $150.

-Narrator (Black Female): Narrates the video as historic pictures and maps are shown on screen. Pay for narrating 15 minute video = $50.
