About Jocelyn Diaz

After graduating from the University of Virginia in 1999 with a degree in English and Spanish Literature, Jocelyn moved to Los Angeles to work in the entertainment industry. Throughout her career, she has worked as a film and television executive for major entertainment networks, including ABC Television, HBO, The Walt Disney Studios, and EPIX. In these roles, she was in charge of deciding creative programming strategy and oversaw all aspects of the development and production process, beginning with identifying and developing stories and scripts, budgeting, hiring directors, greenlighting projects, casting, production, post-production and marketing. In her most recent role, she oversaw all creative programming at EPIX, including scripted series, documentaries, comedies, sports and live events. In 2010, The Hollywood Reporter named her to its “35 Under 35” list, recognizing her as one of Hollywood’s most promising rising executives. Among her credits are Lost, Ugly Betty, Boardwalk Empire, Big Love, Into the Woods, Alexander the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, Berlin Station and Get Shorty.
