HAMPTON ROADS – CASTING CALL FOR SHORT FILM – MID-LATE JANUARY 2022 – PAID

Casting call for “In Search For The Enemy of Man” short film. This drama/period piece will be shot in Virginia Beach, VA & surrounding locations (actors must be willing to work as a local). Video auditions are due by December 12 at noon. Callbacks TBA. This position is Non-Union, Paid* ($100 a day for supporting, Day Players are unpaid).

Synopsis: “In Search Of The Enemy of Man” is a short film set in the 1960s about a Vietnamese Buddhist Monk that travels to America to seek the aid of civil rights leaders to speak out against the war waging in his home country.

Roles:
Quang: Supporting. Age 20-35, Gender- Male, Ethnicity-Asian

Lam: Supporting. Age 30-45, Gender- Male, Ethnicity-Asian

Diem Lu: Supporting-Age 35-50, Gender- Male, Ethnicity-Asian

Council Members: Day Players-Ages 25-65, Gender-Male/Female, Ethnicity-Asian
